Bidding Rules & Protocol

Auction Specifications

  • Starting Price: USD 500.

  • Auction Timeline: The auction commences on July 1, 2026, and closes strictly at midnight IST on July 7, 2026.

  • Bid Privacy: All submitted bids are private and confidential. Raw bid logs will never be disclosed to third parties or competing bidders.

  • Daily Standings: The current highest bid amount will be updated publicly on the website every 24 hours so bidders can track the competition and adjust their strategies.

Bidding Rules

  • Submission Format: Each bid submitted via the official form is treated as a single, binding, private bid.

  • Updating Your Bid: Bidders are welcome to update and increase their bid amount at any time in accordance with the latest daily figures. To do so, you must use your same email ID so your previous bid is updated rather than creating a duplicate entry.

  • Identity Requirement: Multiple bids under entirely different names/emails intended to manipulate the price floor or disrupt auction integrity are prohibited and may result in disqualification.

  • Voluntary Entry: By submitting a bid, you enter the auction willingly, agree to pay your submitted amount if declared the winner, and accept the journal exactly as described, pictured, and filmed in the website gallery.

After the Auction & Payment Terms

  • Winner Notification: Once the auction closes, the highest verified bidder will be notified exclusively via email.

  • Official Correspondence: All communication will be handled solely via email to maintain a transparent, verifiable paper trail in case of default.

  • Payment Methods: Payments are accepted exclusively through PayPal or Wise.

  • Fees & Currency Conversion: The winning bid amount is net to the seller. The buyer is responsible for bearing all platform transaction fees and currency conversion costs required to ensure the full USD winning amount is received.

  • The 3-Day Completeness Window: The winning bidder has exactly three (3) days from the timestamp of the notification email to complete their payment via the provided secure bill link.

Forfeiture & Runner-Up Escalation:

  • If the winner explicitly backs out or fails to settle the payment within the 3-day window, their bid is deemed forfeit. They forfeit the right to the win, and their future bids in any subsequent auctions will be treated as tentative.

  • The next closest lower bid will immediately be awarded the item under the exact same 3-day payment framework. No further discussions, extensions, or requests on the matter will be entertained.

Shipping, Packaging, and Delivery

  • Standard Worldwide Shipping: Global delivery costs under standard courier terms will be fully borne by the seller. The seller will utilize a reliable, economical freight option (which may not be the fastest transit time available).

  • Expedited Shipping Options:

    • If the winner requests expedited delivery and the premium courier cost is reasonable, the seller will cover it.

    • If the expedited shipping cost is exorbitant, the buyer may choose to pay the additional premium over the standard rate if they wish to receive it faster.

    • The seller will provide official cost receipts and bills upfront for any premium upgrades. All such upgrade payments must be settled pre-shipping; no post-dispatch billing requests will be accommodated.

  • Dispatch Timeline: The journal will be securely packed and dispatched within 24 hours of verified payment receipt.

  • Tracking & Logistics: Tracking details and courier data will be shared with the winner as soon as they become available. The seller will actively monitor the shipment until it is safely delivered. Final delivery dates depend strictly on the shipping destination’s distance from India and available freight logistics.

Returns, Refunds, and Disclaimers

  • Finality of Sale: Once the buyer receives the parcel and accepts delivery, the auction cycle is concluded. There are absolutely no returns, refunds, item exchanges, or take-back requests.

  • Product Authenticity: Every detail, dimension, and attribute mentioned or shown regarding the journal is completely true, accurate, and verified to the best of our knowledge. No facts or visual details have been embellished or altered. We do not sell items that are not physically present in our studio.

Legal Jurisdiction

  • Governing Law: This auction is governed by the laws of India. All transactions, interactions, and potential disputes arising from this auction will be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts in Karnataka, India.
